JUNE 23, 2026 TABERNACLE NOON CONCERT FEATURES WILDWING

The members of the “whimsical,” Celtic/world folk band are Anna Watkins Anawalt, Jessa Young, Amy Watkins Nelson, Tanner Jones and sometimes mother, Paula Watkins!

The group is co-led by Anawalt, who is well known locally as an award-winning songwriter and music teacher. She has performed in the concert series at the Logan Tabernacle, as “Fiddlin’ Momma,” with the Bear River Ramblers and also leads a community folk music organization called “Northern Utah Folk Music Connection.”

The three sisters are natives of Mendon who grew up in a multi-talented musical family.

Young is an avid composer, performer, multi instrumentalist  and teacher who actively advocates for world peace.

Besides playing fiddle, mandolin, recorder and percussion in the band Amy  is also an artist and published author.

Tanner Lex Jones, “adopted in” brother gives Wildwing a strong foundation and delightful driving energy through bass, guitar and vocals.. He also is an active member in the local  band “Salduro”
